There’s no place like home, seriously.

Alhamdulillah, we safely reached Singapore at about 7pm or something? Yeah. So happy to be back home YAY. The trip was interesting; although I def-definitely prefer my grandma’s kampung to that of the homestay.

Some scary experiences; for instance, while I was happily taking my shower at 6 in the morning, I realized there was a freaking frog in the bathroom. Initially it stayed put, but afterward started hopping towards me. I swear I was so scared I grabbed my towel and ran out of the toilet and screamed,”DIAANNAAA!!!” HAHAHA. The house was full of cats too, which led me to having flu since I’m sensitive to cats due to asthma.

Apart from that, during our one night  stay in KL, I managed to accomplish staying awake til 5 am int he morning, and sleeping for only one hour before the activities for the following day starts. HAHAHA I IS SO HAPPY WITH MYSELF. I never succeeded staying up late, really. The latest was 1 or 2 am and thats it. Hahah. Overall, it wasnt so bad; in fact, a pretty fun experience, and I shall just let the pictures do the  talking. :)

Tomorrow is going to be a loooonnngg day for me. Job shadowing til 6, and BHSO rehearsal till 9.30 pm. ahh, wish me luck.

So far the job-shadowing programme has been fun! Made a lot of new friends from various JCs and who were posted to WongPartnership for the internship. Makes me feel sad that I have to be away for the MLL trip. I’ll be left with 1 day in office after that. :( Oh well. ANYWAY, here are some photos! :)

My internship partner, Clavence (VJC), and I. I have no idea what’s with his facial expression is this photo HAHA. But he’s a really nice, funny dude who usually has a smile on his face. :) And because my work station is situated at like, the other side of the room (while the rest of the students are clustered together; I know right, how unluckyyy), I feel very lonely with noone to talk to thus I end up sending him manyyyy emails just so I can talk to him. HAHAHAH!!! Well, good thing is, he entertains my nonsense. :D

Human nature; at the first instant of my name, they’ll alwayss call me Siti rather than Nisa. And hence, the name ‘Siti’ is written on my work station instead. Haha.

YES this is how messy my desk is. Clavence and I were given work to do on the first day itself. Hahaha. And for my task, I had to like, do cross-reference with soooo many documents. And mind you, the documents  arent even thin. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting experience, and I cant wait to come back to office on Thursday to finish my task! Haha. Although, I’m somewhat afraid if what I do is not up to standard or anything. :/

I was waiting for the train, but it was during the peak season so it was filled and busy. So I thought, why rush? I should just wait for the empty train to come. And I was wrong. Apparently, I was a little to late. The empty train has already been filled now…

It’s a game of hidden meanings; listen to what I’m not saying.

Sometimes, opportunities come when you least expect it to. And sometimes, because you let your fear- whatever fear it may be- take over you, you miss out on the opportunity that probably may have been laid right in front of you. It’s a matter of taking chances. Nevertheless, I am thankful to Him for what I have today. I may be too late now, but perhaps, next time? I believe that He have better options laid out for me, insyaallah. So yup.

I am excited for tomorrow’s job shadowing. Lucky me, I have a new friend named Eric from VJC who’s been psoted to WongPartnership, too. I guess I wont be too lonely after all.

HAHAHA OMG. Right when I logged in, I put my left hand on the left side of my face. And then, I see this post. HAHAHA SO COOL.

Currently reading Karen Kingsbury’s Fame. It’s a really good read; and I find myself relating to it alot. Hahaha. So here’s a little shout out to Zalikha and Faranah- Thanks for this super duper belated birthday gift babes! I appreciate it. :)

I’m not done reading it, but so far this book… Reminds me alot of my first audition on the 14th; how I tried hard not to feel disappointed (to which I failed, of course), and how even though feedbacks were almost never given in those situations, I wanted it badly. “Good job” perhaps, or “That was perfect”. Something. Haha. And how I jumped for joy when I found out I got in… Funny how important first auditions are to people. Or maybe it’s just me. Hahaha.

I’m planning to laze around at home today and spend my time reading. Been awhile since I’ve done that; been to busy with school and whatnot. Tomorrow marks the first day of the JC Law Programme. I’m excited. :D hehe~

Oh yes, I realized I never mentioned; I’ve been attached to WongPartnership LLP for the job-shadowing programme. This experience is going to be soooo important for the near future decision making that  I’ll have to make.

P.S I cant wait for New Moon to be out in the cinemas; looks so much better than Twilight. Let’s go catch it ama BFF! :)

What was supposed to be a trip to the cinema to watch A Christmas Carol turned into typical-yet-always-fun hang out day with BFF. Haha. She has a new hair color now. And okay, my head looks huge in the picture above. :( haha. It’s okay though, must be because I have big brains (HAHAHAHAHA).
P.S Not that I’m saying people with small head have small brains. It was just a random remark. Hehe~

I cant wait for my hair to grow longer. Please, my dear hair, grow grow groowwww! I have so many plans coming up for you! But it wont happen unless you grow faster. So yes. Please, and thank you. :)

I’m getting tanner, which makes me pissed. Why is because I’ve been bathing with verryy hot water since the weather has been cold lately. And hot water can actually make you tan if you do it too often. Especially for people like me, who gets tanned easily. Then again, I cant help it can I? Not with the current weather of course. Oh well.

To those flying off to South Africa tonight, have a safe journey there and back home! :)

Anyways, ever since I changed my number, China people have been calling and sms-ing me in search of Ariel. For the nth time, i told them that they got the wrong number and YET they still continue to call and sms. How annoying; if only I can block their numbers or something. Sheesh-ka-boom.

Tomorrow is Saturday and I’ve got nothing to do since religious class is over for the year. :O I’m quite grateful there’s one more year for me to attend actually. I always loved attending religious classes on Sat nights; what interests me most is the history of Islam. So fun to learn, especially with my Sat night partners; Munirah and Aainaa. Gonna miss them for the mean time; cant wait to see them again next year! :)

Okay, while I was Novena with Nazreen I saw this pair of ELLE shoes that is gold in color. And it’s soooo pretty!!! The design is just awesome. Plus it’s on offer! How imba is that?! I’m gonna get it. I shall ask if my parents can get it for me as a, you know, annual end-of-year gift or something. HEHE. :D

OMG. I just saw the name list of those who’s made it for the Honor Band. Apparently, out of the many clarinetists who auditioned, only 6 were chosen. SIX! And I’m part of it. I feel so… honored. :D hahaha. And it’s a small band! Made up of only 39 people! So AWESOME. HEHE. Okay, I shall not bore you with  my “Band Life” already hahaha.

I watched Paranormal Activity with Diana, Nasir, Suria, Suria’s friend, Sunil and Grace yesterday. It’s reallyyy very slow. I was falling  asleep; totally not worth my $6.50. :( Some parts were scary though. But other than that, nah. Not a good movie in my opinion. And WHY are most of the movies in cinemas so pessimistic currently?! ANNOYING. I’ve been wanting to watch a good, happy movie to treat myself, but apparently non. Sheesh. Shall wait til December then.

I cant believe I have Maths Assignment waiting to be done right now. AHHH. I feel so lazy to do it. :( Oh well.

I is very happy today. :D

As I was walking to LT2 for Geog Lecture, I heard Ms Yeo calling my name. And I KNEW she was going to ask me something about the audition. So when I came to her, I tried as far as possible to change the subject because I thought I failed the audition. Until I heard her say,”Btw, you’ve been selected for the Honor Band.”

I WAS LIKE,”OMGOSH REALLY?!?!” Happy as larry! :D

And then, Promos results. Before that, during MLL lesson, Cikgu Said scared me off by saying in a hidden way that I didnt get through (because I wasnt paying attention in class HAHAHA). At that point, I kinda broke down, because I mean, I have been doing well and to know that I retain is like, $%^$%^$. So yes, while waiting for results at the hall I was nervous as hell. Until, of course, I saw my result slip…

AND I AM SO HAPPY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!

I passed all my subjects, and am especially happy for Geog, Maths, and GP! These 3 subjects got me worried the most. Especially Geog. Apparently, I got 72 for the paper that I thought killed me. HAPPY! But seems like I always get a B. I shall aim for A next time round. GP, I SWEAR i thought I died for risking doing the question “The Arts does not only speak to, but also about us”. Apparently I didnt. Maintained my grade. :D And Maths, oh I love you so. Love you, that much. Let’s hope I’ll still love you once Pure Maths comes along. :)

ANYWAY
My main point is, effort does not work alone. I believe that I got what I got today because He has answered my prayers. I am truly thankful, alhamdullilah. Today brought me so much joy. Thank you, God.

I shall sleep well tonight. :D

Okay, unglam position. I was rehearsing my speech. Hahaha.

Weirdly, I didnt take alot of photos yesterday. I felt lazy, and wasnt in the mood because I was too worried about it*. AND I was very disappointed with myself for screwing up. So yes, I’ve been koping photos from facebook to see if there’s any hope/ chances that i may have been accidentally taken in any one of them. HAHAHA OK LOSER. :D

I couldnt sleep the whole of last night, I swear. For now, I’ll just take it as if I didnt make it through. I’m not going to ask for the results. Running away from the truth? Maybe. I’m still hoping though. Hah. I’ll just wait for the day when they distribute the scores and stuff. Only then will I find out if I made it through despite screwing up badly on my choice piece. Apart from that, I would like to take this  opportunity to thank all those who still believe in me, and especially for the never ending encouragement. And thank you, God, for giving me courage and strength. In my dreams last night (when I FINALLY did manage to sleep), the things that I cried over during the day sailed far far away wheeeeeeeeeeeeee~

SO YES. I is feeling much better today.
